Your role: Senior Polyglot Software Engineer Utrecht
As Senior Polyglot Software EngineerUtrecht you will always work in a dedicated squad of highly exceptional multidisciplinary colleagues, which can consist out of software engineers, cloud native developers, data engineers, test automation specialists, and agile coaches. Together you have one task: To show your authority, and help the client from A to Better to fulfill a great innovation need while laying the foundation for years of years of lasting impact. Designing and building great software that makes use of the latest proven technologies as well as upgrading their entire software engineering environment, culture, and way of working. Here you work on the full cycle of longer term projects, so you can really make an impact and see the result of your work: Architecture, core-backend engineering, event-driven design, test automation, deployment, here you have it all! As you are here to drive innovation you will have the opportunity to experiment with new technologies and ways of working. As a true Polyglot you get to work with all of the JVM languages + Go and TypeScript, depending on the need of the project.

What is being asked?

• Experience working within software engineering consultancy/work with client contacts
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Professional experience with Java or Kotlin
• You want to develop yourself to make maximum impact, both technically and communicatively
• Experience with TypeScript or Golang is a plus
• Experience with event driven architectures, DDD, or streaming data is a plus
• Experience with Spring Boot, Quarkus, Docker, and/or K8s is a plus
• You consider test and delivery automation to be part of your work
• Experience working within AWS, GCP, or Azure of scale is a plus
• A technical BSc or MSc degree
• Experience with training, mentorship, open source contribution, or being active within engineering communities is a big plus

• Between €81.400 and €96.100 per year based on knowledge and added value
