However, many companies do not yet have this knowledge in-house and many new technological developments are taking place within the Cloud, which makes many issues complex. This Cloud Native tech scale-up is at the forefront of Cloud Native. For example, they are premium partners of Google and Amazon, the account managers of Google and Amazon are the first to think of them with the most complex projects. This Rising star occupies a key position within the world of the Cloud, they provide training from Google for thousands of people at the same time and speak at conferences. Furthermore, they invest an enormous amount of time in their people and they only want to work with the best people in the field in order to continue to play at the highest possible level. You will work in a team with the best people in the field who speak at conferences, provide training for big names such as Google and Amazon. Innovation and development are paramount here, so you get plenty of room to work on yourself and there are 2 knowledge sessions every month and you can make use of a generous training budget.

Your role: Senior Cloud Engineer Amsterdam
As a Senior Cloud Engineer Amsterdam you work together with the best people on the most complex projects within the market where you are hired for your (niche) expertise to make a real impact. Together with leading names in the field of Cloud Native, you work on leading complex projects from Amazon and Google, so you and your team help leading organizations towards the Cloud. For example, they have built the entire application landscape for a large E-commerce player and translated it into Cloud solutions. They built the Cloud Landing Zone within GCP and fully automated it, including migrating our premise servers to the Cloud. For a Fintech organization, they migrated the existing application landscape to the Cloud and developed and implemented a new landscape according to modern standards. With your Cloud experience as a Senior Cloud Engineer, you are expected to lead migrations and build Landing Zones within the Cloud. This gives you complete freedom to design different environments within the Cloud.

What is being asked?

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in the field of Software Development and Cloud Engineering.
• A completed technical HBO or WO education in the direction of Computer Science or Computer Science.
• From an intrinsic interest, you are well aware of new developments.
• Having an Automation mindset, always wanting to automate processes.
• Communicative skills and get people on board with your message.
• Inquisitive, discovery-oriented, and willing to lead the way in the market.
• Experience with AWS or GCP or other Cloud
• Experience with infrastructure as code such as Terraform is an advantage.
• Experience with Kubernetes is a plus.

What is offered?

• Between €80,000 and €100,000 salary per year based on knowledge and experience
• The choice to work 40 or 36 or 32 hours
• + 5% end-of-year bonus
• € 5000 training budget per year + 6 training days
