Your role: Lead SRE Engineer Amsterdam
In your role as Lead SRE Engineer Amsterdam you will be part of a highly motivated autonomous SRE team which you will set up and lead. Together with your team, you ensure that all products continue to run reliably, you will shape the strategy in the field of SRE. As a Lead SRE Engineer, you act as a Tech Lead and you help other engineers to get the best out of themselves, engineering culture, and knowledge sharing. More than 2 million highly complex queries on the platform mean that an immense amount of data has to be processed in parallel. That is why continuous scaling and caching are of fundamental importance and you ensure that everything continues to run reliably within the AWS Cloud! Your task is to set up a successful SRE team where you and your team are given responsibility for the reliability of the products within this organization. You interact with various stakeholders and think along with architects, where you also actively work on Low-level design in the field of AWS and Kubernetes.

What is required?

• 8+ years of professional experience as a Developer or System Engineer
• Excellent experience with AWS.
• Experience with Monitoring and SRE
• Excellent communication skills
• Being able to think along with the Cloud Architecture
• Experience with deploying DevOps Strategies
• Experience with infra as Code such as Terraform
• A technical bachelor's or master's degree or comparable work and thinking level
• Kubernetes experience is a plus
