Your role: Senior Backend Engineer Kotlin Amsterdam
In your role as Senior Backend Engineer Kotlin Amsterdam, you get the opportunity to work on very challenging algorithmic and mathematicalgreenfield challenges, where you can test and deploy. As mentioned, the hardware is the lifeblood of the organization, so performance and 24/7 availability is crucial! In this organization, you are free to develop yourself in the direction you desire. For example, if you think it’s cool to start your own greenfield project, you are free to do so. You will be able to spar with communicative and helpful colleagues and interact on daily basis with the knowledgeable CTO. Because the company wants to double in size this year, there are certainly opportunities for growth. If you develop well, you can grow into tech lead or team lead!

What is required?

• 4+ years of professional software development experience
• Professional experience with Java and/or Kotlin
• Experience with Docker
• Open to learn, experiment and develop
• A technical bachelor's or master's is a plus
• Experience with Kubernetes is a plus
• Experience with Kafka is a plus
• Experience with GraphQL is a plus
• Experience with CI/CD is a plus

What is on offer?

• Between €70.000 and €85.000 gross per year
