Your role: Senior SRE Engineer AWS Amsterdam
As Senior SRE Engineer AWS Amsterdam you will be part of a small but very experienced team of DevOps engineers, with the very interesting challenge of setting up and running the entire AWS cloud native infrastructure + SRE strategy. Your platform will act as a key innovation catalyst for the various dev teams, with 24/7 availability and uptime. Some things that you can look forward to are defining, measuring, and monitoring service line objectives, professionalizing monitoring, moving to multiple AWS regions, adding more CI/CD automation, and setting up and running on-call while of course enabling teams to delivery easy and effortlessly (security, built to scale, resilient, cloud native, self-healing). If you love a high impact role, cutting edge technology and very stringent (global payment) requirements this job is for you.

What is required?

• 5+ years of DevOps experience
• Experience within mission critical AWS production environments
• Solid fundamental understanding of systems, networking, and storage
• Professional experience with SRE and System Engineering
• Solid understanding of the software development cycle
• Fluent in English
• Experience with Linux
• Experience with CI/CD automation and IaC (Terraform would be great!)
• Experience with setting up infrastructure and tooling from scratch and able to get people on board with your ideas
• Experience working directly with developers is a big plus
• Experience with Go or Python is a plus

What is offered?

• Between €90.000 and €110.000 gross per year depending on experience and added value
• Stock options that can x50 to x100 in value in the coming years!
