Your role: Senior SRE Engineer AWS Amsterdam
As Senior SRE Engineer AWS Amsterdam you have an amazing impact to be had! As you will research and lay the foundation for all security/SIEM-practices and implement them in their Native AWS Cloud infrastructure together with titans in the field of AWS Cloud.  Where you enjoy a lot of autonomy, freedom and responsibility. There is a close and open atmosphere within the team, they have drinks every Friday and they regularly organize fun parties. As Senior SRE Engineer AWS Amsterdam you will be part of a small but very knowledgeable platform engineering team where you now have the very interesting challenge of researching, architecting and implementing security measures regarding SIEM, PCD-ISS and IaM on their AWS platform. Due to the importance of Security within Fintech, you will have get the chance In taking the lead and define their Platform-Security/SRE strategy (and team if you like!). Your platform will act as a key innovation catalyst for the various dev teams, with a 24/7 availability and uptime. Some other things that you can look forward to are define, measure and monitor service line objectives, implementing SIEM, implementing measure to meet PCD-ISS requirements,  professionalize monitoring, add more CI/CD automation while of course enabling teams to delivery easy and effortlessly (security, built to scale, resilient, cloud native, self-healing). What is required?

• 5+ Jaar experience as a Cloud/Platform engineer
• Experience within Mission-Critical AWS production environments
• Experience with the AWS + Services (S3, EC2, VPC, CloudFront, Lambda, EC2, IaM, EKS)
• Professional Experience as a Site Reliability engineer and/or SOC engineer
• Fluent in English
• Experience in Linux
• Experience with CI/CD automation and IaC (Terraform)
• Experience in doing R&D, implementing Tooling and creating PoC’s to improve business effectivity.
• Experience working with Go of Python.
• Knowledge of SIEM, PCD-ISS is a plus
• Experience working in an high-traffic and/or payments environment is a plus
• Knowledge of the software development life cycle is a plus
