Your job: Senior Backend Engineer Amsterdam
As a Senior Backend Engineer Amsterdam, you can build the foundation of this tech scale-up and then scale it up to millions of end users. The roadmap contains more than enough challenges, such as building cool features and migrating important services from monolith to microservices. Also, the plan is to use more and more Golang as the load on the server increases. This includes possible technical challenges to introduce asynchronous data, event sourcing, and Kafka and you can have a crucial impact on this! You also get the freedom to implement new tech & innovations. As mentioned, no shortage of challenges!

What is required?

• 4+ years of professional backend engineering experience
• Experience with Node.JS
• Polyglot mindset and experience with at least 2 programming languages
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Cloud and Microservices
• A technical bachelor and/or master or a comparable level of thinking is a plus
• Experience with Golang is a plus
• Experience with GCP is a plus
• Experience with DevOps is a plus
• Experience introducing new technologies is a plus
• Experience with architecture & design is a plus
