We are looking for smart people with potential and the following background:

Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science or equivalent;
Experience and knowledge of Azure (specifically Data PaaS services and Network configuration);
Experience with implementing the following platform technologies preferred (HDInsight/Databricks, Synapse/PostgreSQL, ADF/Airflow, Blob Storage, AKS, Azure DevOPs, etc..)
Good understanding of databases including RDBMS, non-SQL and time-series databases;
Solid understanding of DevOps practices including Git, CI/CD, monitoring;
Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms and problem-solving skills;
Programming skills in Python.
You have a learning attitude. Not only to master new technologies and programming languages, but also on the interpersonal level.
Fluent in written and spoken English (Dutch is not required);
Only Onshore position in the Netherlands.

Profile Azure Data Platforms EngineerAs Azure Data Platform Engineer you are responsible for designing and implementing the technical architecture of the KPN Data platform. You will work closely with our software engineers to ensure that the platform meets KPNs needs while adhering to best practices in scalability, reliability, fault tolerance and security.As part of the Data Office, you will work within the Data Platforms department together with 30 colleague’s on the future of data platforms within KPN. Besides the daily work we lunch and have drinks together when we are in the office.You will contribute in designing, building and maintaining our Data Platforms. Enabling the organization to ingest, transform and share data in a fully automated, efficient and secure manner.
