Your role: Senior Java Developer Utrecht
As a Senior Java Developer Utrecht, you have a leading technical role on various fronts. Naturally, by helping to build the new data-intensive SaaS productwith billions of processed events alongside the various agile cross-functional development teams based on the new architecture. Here you can work with Java21, Spring Boot, AWS, NoSQL, RabbitMQ, and AWS, within a fully automated development pipeline. This means deploying often and getting immediate feedback on your work! Additionally, you'll help improve coding standards, refine the architecture, and share your knowledge through mentoring with less experienced colleagues. This means you'll have a significant impact not only on the product but also on the formation of the culture!

Career Growth Opportunities

What is Required?

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience in designing backend architecture and coding best practices
• Experience with Java11+ and Spring Boot
• Experience with Microservices and/or event-driven architecture
• Experience with Cloud such as AWS is a plus
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Experience with Agile testing, TDD, and/or Continuous Delivery is a plus
• Experience mentoring/coaching other developers is a plus
