This role involves setting up a cross-site platform for building, integrating, and testing. The goal is to make sure all cross-site projects are built the same way. You'll lead the shift from Windows to Linux for building processes and work with the IT department to decide on the hardware needed. • Implement the cross-site platform as an infrastructure used for build, integration and testing purposes;
• Create uniformity in builds of different cross-site projects;
• Lead the moce from building under Windows to building under Linux;
• Coordinate with the IT department what hardware needs to be used for building and testing;
• Providing support to fellow software engineers who are facing issues with the build platform.

Gevraagd

• In possesion of a Bachelor or Master Degree, preferably IT related;
• At least 3 years of experience as a Software Developer, Embedded Developer or similar;
• Experience with C/C++ and Object Oriented Software Development;
• Experienced with Software Development processes like Integration, Testing etc.;
• Experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GIT;
• Basic understanding of Automated Testing.

Aanbod

Arbeidsvoorwaarden

• A salary up to 5.150,- gross per month based on 40 hours a week;
• 37,75 holidays devided by 25 fixed holidays and 12,75 ADV days based on 40 hours a week;
• A 13th month.

Bedrijfsomschrijving

As Build & Integration Engineer you will work in a team which works from Germany, Romania and the Netherlands. Together with the team you will be responsible for implementing a cross-site build, interation and test infrastructure. By doing so you will be creating consistency in build across different projects spanning multiple sites. A key aspect of your role will involve in transitioning the build environment from Windows to Linux which requires coordination with the IT department to determine the appropriate setup for building and testing purposes. 

With your experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps and GIT you will streamline development workflows. Additionally with your proficiency in Linux, Windows and preferably Docker and Kubernetes you will be optimizing the biuld and deployment processes. 

At last with you will be responsible for the development of real-time embedded software and will further contribute to the effectivenes of the cross-site build platform by performing some automated tests.
