As a Azure Platform Engineer, you can help bring about this change by:

Development, management, and maintenance of the Azure Platform for the whole organization;
Building various security automations, designing solutions, and making a real difference at our firm by contributing to the long-term goals of Engineering Platforms;
Undertaking diverse responsibilities and initiatives, full autonomy is key;
Growing your knowledge on the complete Azure Cloud technology stack (network, security, functions, containers, data, etc.) but with the main focus on data services;
Drive automation by utilizing CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code;
Drive innovation topics like Open AI technology;

You get the opportunity to work with cutting edge technology every day while advising the DevOps teams on how to incorporate these technologies in their solutions.

Guiding DevOps teams in implementing applications that are compliant with the security requirements of the organization;

Process skills and capabilities

CI/CD: Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery;
Minimum of 2 years of experience with Agile Way of Working (Scrum & Kanban);
Minimum of 2 years in the DevOps way of working;
You have experience in incident response handling and processing;
Experience in risk and mitigation processes;
You are able to eliminate technical debt;
You have experience with security processes and compliance governance;
You have experience with On demand Self service;
You are able to measure services and monitoring;
Experience with loosely coupled architecture;
You embrace the everything as code principal.

Your technical skills and capabilities

Minimum bachelor’s degree in a relevant direction (B ICT);
Substantive knowledge when it comes to (Azure) Cloud technologies & Cloud design patterns;
Minimum of 2 Azure certifications (Solutions Architect and/or Azure Administrator and/or DevOps Engineer and/or Azure Security Technologies);
Minimum of 2 years of experience with Azure development;
Experience with at least one of the following programming/ scripting languages: Bash and/or PowerShell;
Experience with Azure DevOps practices, Git and Yaml pipelines;
CI/CD: Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery configuration, usage, and maintainability;
Azure Bicep;
Knowledge and experience of Cloud native development;
Knowledge and experience with commonly used Azure data services like Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Cosmos DB, SQL Server, PostgreSQL;
Knowledge and experience of Azure Active Directory;
Knowledge and experience of Azure policies;
Skills to troubleshoot and fix issues in a running cloud application (highly preferred).

It is a plus if you also have:

Knowledge of Machine Learning, Datawarehouse and ETL development;
Knowledge of container technologies (AKS, ACI, ACR);
Knowledge and experience with programming to build a backend cloud application.
