As a Process and Application Consultant you will fulfill an internal role. You will be responsible for the WMS system in which the complete process of transport from warehouse to trucks is accommodated (inbound and outbound).

Currently, an old version of the WMS system is still running and the organization wants to upgrade to the latest version. This is where they really need your help! At this moment, they are implementing the new version at two foreign locations, for the Dutch market the implementation still needs to be executed. Your tasks:  
 

• You are the specialist regarding the WMS system + all belonging processes; 
• You are responsible for clarifying the needs of the business and you know more about all the processes; 
• You make the translation to technical possibilities in the application and you communicate with internal colleagues from software development or the supplier about the design; 
• You dive into issues / problems, perfom problem analyses and think about improvements; 
• You participate in international projects and innovation initiatives; 
• You advize the organization in your area of expertise;
• You interact with key users; 
• You help the organization to structure documentation.

Gevraagd

• You have at least five years of experience in a similar position, for example as a WMS Consultant, Implementation Consultant or Senior Application Specialist;
• You have experience in implementing/designing various supply chain applications, either on the process side or on the application management side; 
• You have experience with supply chain processes and have preferably worked with WMS or TMS software. This organization works with the WMS Manhattan, it is a big advantage if you have experience with this or similar software;
• You like to think about improvements, dare to take the initiative and like to think ahead; 
• You have experience with process-based and project-based work and enjoy doing this in an international environment;
• You are communicatively strong and talk easily with people from different departments;
• You have full command of the English language given the international nature of this position (Dutch is an advantage).

• Salary opportunities up to +/- 5800 euro gross per month based on 40 hour working week, depending on knowledge and experience;

Als Proces & Applicatie Consultant richt jij je op het warehousemanagement systeem (WMS) en bijbehorende processen. Je maakt onderdeel uit van de ICT afdeling, in totaal 30 medewerkers verdeeld over verschillende teams. Op WMS vlak werk je nauw samen met twee directe collega's.
