We are looking for a highly motivated person with a solid background in agile software engineering to increase the level of automation, further extend our CI/CD flows in Kubernetes based environments and maintenance on our cluster infrastructure applications.

BACKGROUND:

Project migration from Vanilla Kubernetes to Openshift (both on premise)
Improve the efficiency of our environments and applications.

SKILLS:

Containerization related technologies like Kubernetes (Must have) and Openshift (nice to have).
at least 5 years of experience in CI/CD Pipelines, Kubernetes application development
Focus on plain Kubernetes on premise, no focus on Amazon/Azure DevOps clouds!!
Experience with Helm charts, automation tools like ArgoCD, GitOPS, Jenkins and Ansible approach
Experience with:
- Kubernetes Edge and non-edge - solutions
- Kubernetes Security functions

TASKS

Migration of applications and test setup from Linux based Kubernetes environment to Openshift.
Improve application security by introducing Service Mesh, Pod Admission Policies, Network Policies and whitelisting of secure artefacts (images)
Maintain the monitoring and logging components.
Workout improvements to improve efficiency of alerting and cluster resources.
Version updates and upgrades on our infrastructure applications
Support our customers in migrating their application projects to Kubernetes and Openshift
Language Skills: Fluent English, German a nice to have.
