Your role: Senior Java Developer Amsterdam
As a Senior Java Developer Amsterdam you will work in an autonomous core-backend team and work close to the product, so that you play a crucial role within the organization. The product is in high demand on an international scale and that is why they are going to build a completely new version of the product here to make it easy to scale. You can sink your teeth into challenges like microservices architecture, cloud development, high-availability and even get the chance to work with Java 17! As an experienced Java Developer, you can make an impact on the complex migration from a monolith/legacy to microservices architecture to make the product even better. This next generation of products will help revolutionize and contribute to a safer world!

What is being asked?

• 5+ years of professional (backend) software development experience
• Professional experience with Java
• Experience working within microservices architectures
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes is a plus
• Experience with cloud such as AWS, GCP or Azure is a plus
• Experience with mentoring colleagues

What is offered?

• Salary between €75.000 and €90.000 per year based on knowledge and experience
• The choice to work 32, 36, 40 or 4×9 hours a week
• Flexible working hours
• Working from home (4 days)
• 25 vacation days
