Your job: Senior Java Backend Developer Amsterdam
In your role as Senior Java Backend Developer Amsterdam you will strengthen your knowledge of backend engineering with the latest developments on Cloud Native & Serverless Development, together with your multidisciplinary team of some of the best colleagues to help leading technology companies in the Amsterdam and Utrecht area in maximizing the power of Cloud Native! For them, you and your team will play a fundamental role in developing their technical strategy, vision, architecture, design, and helping them build long-term solutions. Already have some Cloud Native experience? Super! Only experience working in a modern Cloud environment? Great! Because here you can learn it all (from the best people on the market!). In fact, in the first two months, € 25.000 (!) will be invested in you, so that you can get up to speed with Cloud Engineering through a boot camp and mentorship by one of the Cloud Native experts. Realize that after this you can excel in both backend and Cloud engineering and this gives your knowledge level a mega boost!

What is being asked?

• Minimum of 5 years of professional development experience as a backend software engineer
• Professional experience with Java and/or Kotlin
• Experience within a modernCloudenvironment
• An interest in learning everything about Cloud native and serverless development
• A completed technical BSc or MSc education or demonstrable work and thinking level
• You like to keep yourself informed of new developments
• Clean coding and automated testing is your preference
• Experience with softwaredesign and architecture is a big plus
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases is a plus
• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes is a plus

 

What is on offer?

• Between €70.000 and €90.000 gross per year based on experience and added value
• + 5% year-end bonus (paid in the past 10+ year)
• + € 11.160 mobility contribution on top of your salary
• = Salary up to € 105.660
• + € 5.000 training budget per year
