Your role: Senior Full-Stack Node.JS Engineer Amsterdam
In your role as Senior Full-Stack Node.JS Engineer Amsterdam, you'll have the opportunity to take this platform to an even higher level. You'll work closely with the business and your tech team, continuously seeking ways to build shared services through the reusability of your software. This means you can truly delve deep into the tech underlayer and contribute to a lot of innovation and impact! As a full-stack engineer, the emphasis is on the backend (70%), but you can also definitely build exciting functionalities within the frontend (30%). Due to the continuous success and growth in the number of customers, there are many challenges related to resilience, scalability, and availability. Additionally, you can sink your teeth into DevOps challenges; CI/CD, Containerization, and Test Automation. Security is also of great importance, and challenges like compliance, authentication, and networking lie ahead for you. The test coverage here is at least 95%, so if you truly want to learn how to build quality code, this is the place! In the short term, you can launch all sorts of highly disruptive products that will only strengthen their proposition AND will be built completely from scratch! So, it's a great opportunity to take services and functionalities to the next level where there's already a lot of load (plenty of feedback on your work!), as well as designing and building brand-new services!

Requirements:

• 4+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience with JS and JavaScript and a polyglot mindset
• Experience working within modern Cloud/Microservices environments
• A high-quality product mindset
• You enjoy working closely with the business
• A completed BSc or MSc in Computer Science or a comparable demonstrable level of thinking
• Experience with React, Angular, or Vue is a plus (preferably React)
• Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes is a plus
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure is a plus
• Experience with NoSQL databases like Cassandra or MongoDB is a plus
• Experience with Test Automation and/or CI/CD is a plus
• Experience with security and scalability are pluses
• Fintech experience is a plus

• Salary between €70,000 and €80,000 gross based on knowledge and experience
