Providing support is key, and besides your IT skills, you also enjoy communicating with users. You'll be working for our client in an office environment in Amsterdam and/or Leiden, but you'll be part of a global organization.

As an IT Support Engineer,
you'll primarily resolve IT questions and problems related to office automation, such as PCs, laptops, printers, phones, and network equipment. You'll also need to prepare the correct registrations, hardware, and software for new users. So, something different every time! Your goal? To become the IT pillar within the organization: Problem? Solved!
You'll log the incident, monitor the progress of each ticket, and inform the relevant user. You'll remain calm when faced with various questions, prioritize effectively, and focus on meeting SLAs. In addition to on-site support, you'll interact with external suppliers and support from Total IT Global (English-speaking).
This creates a dynamic work environment with room for your own input. You'll be at the heart of a large organization where you'll interact with colleagues at all levels.

The drive to use your knowledge and dedication to explore and solve problems in depth. You are practical and helpful. You have a sharp analytical mind. You enjoy working in a team but tackle problems independently. If you're stuck, you'll consult others or take the initiative yourself. The more you learn, the more you enjoy it! Furthermore, you have strong communication skills, which makes your work more enjoyable and allows you to optimize support.

We also require:

• A completed education, preferably in ICT.
• There are two different requirements: one in Boxmeer and one in Amersfoort
• You function at a minimum of MBO level
• Several years of work experience at a service desk is a requirement.
• In addition to the Dutch language, you also master English.
• Knowledge of ICT hardware, software, ticket systems, ITIL processes, Cloud and Office 365.
• have your own transportation/car
• For the position in Amersfoort, the initial training and onboarding period will be in Leiden for the first 1.5 months.
  For the position in Boxmeer, support will also be provided in Oss. The split is approximately 3 days in Boxmeer and 2 days in Oss, a distance of approximately 43 km. Because switching positions is required throughout the day, having your own transportation is essential.
