Are you a recognized thought leader in Telecommunications with deep expertise in Resource, Asset & Inventory Management, Domain Architecture, Data Governance, Data Management, Transition and Integration? Are you driven by digital transformation and the ability to translate complex business challenges into actionable strategies?
As a Director Consulting Expert (DCE) Telecommunications at CGI, you will shape the future of the industry by providing visionary leadership, strategic advisory, and innovative digital solutions.

Your role and impact
As Director Consulting Expert (DCE) you are a trusted advisor for our clients and, based on your thought leadership, you ensure the intrinsic positioning of CGI with our clients. You help them with business issues and translate these into optimal, cost efficient system architecture and digital transformation roadmap(s). You will develop strong client relationships and expand them to further showcase CGI expertise. You will shape this from paid assignments with our clients.

With your vision on the most important industry, market & business themes, the relationship to IT solutions, digital and/or cloud transformation, 'straight through processing' you know how to link the services of CGI to associated IT & Technical Infra issues. You drive innovative initiatives and actively share your industry knowledge with colleagues. You'll produce publications, white papers and blogs and represent CGI during (online) events and public appearances where you'll share your vision as part of the strategic journey that CGI wants to pursue with the client that connects to themes, issues and challenges within the Telecom sector.

You are a true team player who is able to engage the unit's consultants in current developments and involve them in developing client relationships and business development opportunities. As DCE, you are the point of contact for CGI professionals to develop their subject matter expertise. You will be part of the unit's Leadership Team and will have more than enough opportunities to grow within CGI.

What makes you the ideal candidate
You are an influential leader with a proven track record in the Telecom industry, capable of inspiring both clients and colleagues. Your ability to combine deep domain knowledge with a strategic perspective allows you to drive meaningful change.
You bring:
• 10+ years of experience in the Telecom sector, with expertise in business and IT solutions;
• A completed BSc/ MSc education;
• Proven ability to advise and shape strategy for consulting, technology, and service organizations;
• Established client and vendor relationships, with the ability to drive consulting engagements;
• Experience in developing digital transformation concepts and innovation-driven propositions;
• Strong expertise in Advanced Analytics, AI, Machine Learning, and emerging technologies is a strong preference;
• Fluency in Dutch and English is a must, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
