DANS is het nationale expertisecentrum en repository voor onderzoeksdata. We helpen onderzoekers hun data beschikbaar te maken voor hergebruik. Zo kunnen wetenschappers de data inzetten voor nieuw onderzoek en is gepubliceerd onderzoek controleerbaar en herhaalbaar. Met meer dan 170.000 datasets, deelname aan tientallen Europese projecten en zestig medewerkers behoort DANS tot de meest vooraanstaande repositories van Europa.

DANS is een instituut van de Koninklijke Nederlandse Akademie van Wetenschappen (KNAW) en de Nederlandse Organisatie voor Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek (NWO)
