BDO is an international network of independent public accounting, tax and advisory firms (the BDO network), which perform professional services under the name of BDO (the BDO Member Firms). The global organisation provides advisory services in 162 countries, with almost 74,000 people working out of 1,500 offices worldwide. The combined fee income of all the BDO Member Firms was US$8.1 billion in 2017. BDO is the brand name for the BDO network and for each of the BDO Member Firms.

Global IT and Services B.V. (Global IT) is a limited liability company registered in the Netherlands and is a subsidiary of the Belgian company Brussels Worldwide Services BVBA (BWS), which coordinates service provision within the international BDO network of independent member firms. Global IT provides services to BWS and the BDO network.
Each of BDO International Limited (the governing entity of the BDO network), Global IT, BWS and BDO Member Firms is a separate legal entity and has no liability for another such entitys acts or omissions. Nothing in the arrangements or rules of the BDO network shall constitute or imply an agency relationship or a partnership between BDO International Limited, Global IT, BWS and/or the member firms of the BDO network.
