Much of this activity is sourced to external partners.

Within this context, your mission in this role is to drive the operational delivery of global IT end-user services in line with business expectations and requirements, budget and service levels. In doing so you focus on business satisfaction operational excellence, ensuring that service providers deliver services as per agreed budget and performance levels.

Could you manage suppliers at an operational level and relentlessly challenge them to deliver Continuous Improvement in terms of cost savings, acceleration, and efficiencies? Can you work autonomously as you balance the long-term (helicopter view’) and short-term implications and details of individual decisions? Above all, can you make a real difference within our dynamic, multinational and multicultural business environment?

If you offer all this and more we invite you to apply for one of two positions as

Delivery Manager Managed Infrastructure Services (MIS)

The role and its responsibilities

This role is based at our global hub in Arnhem, the Netherlands, but will require multiple (international) site and supplier visits every year.

Your core task is to deliver and manage a set of Infrastructure end-user services, in most cases delivered by key suppliers. Your objective is to maintain and improve user satisfaction with those services.

Thus you work with colleagues in the IM department to incorporate services into the End-to-End offering to be delivered to the business and customers. This requires you to understand your role within an End-to-End Service mindset and to enhance business perception of IT by quickly resolving and communicating requests and incidents.
In order to achieve this you issue work instructions and schedules and ensure that adequate resources are assigned for an effective End-to-End service delivery.

Further, you drive the handling of change requests and capacity planning for change requests, and support the timely delivery of the changes and forecast planning per agreed period. You also set service agreements from suppliers and towards the business, ensuring that these are met. This requires you to ensure that IM and the business have put in place the conditions for the supplier to deliver.

You ensure that all IT Service Management processes, Operational Level Agreements and Underpinning Contracts are monitored and adhered to, and are appropriately aligned for the agreed service level targets.

Ongoing you are responsible for the analysis, documentation, management and reporting of incidents and requests in daily operations. This demands high visibility and appropriate communication to the business and IT support staff. You also ensure consistently high service performance, monitoring of employees and evaluation of business feedback to develop quality improvement processes.
At all times you seek to drive Continuous Improvement within IDM, IM Services, IM and the business. Within this process you stay abreast of trends and recognize the potential strategic application of IT solutions/assets to the benefit of the organization.

All of this requires the strong technical knowledge to understand what we can ask from suppliers. It also demands that you remain neutral toward technology, vendor and product choices, more interested in results than in personal preferences.
