Front End Java Developer - Banking

Your day-to-day activities
As an experienced Front End Java Developer you design, develop and test software systems and applications. You know what the client's software systems need to do and you find ways to improve and revolutionize them. You create software tailored to the clients’ specific needs. High quality is important to you. Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment are no strangers to you. You work in multidisciplinary Agile teams on common goals, quickly process feedback and put quality first in successful solutions.

What you need to be successful in this role
You are aware of all trends and developments within your discipline, both in backend and frontend techniques as well as in adapting frameworks. You have high analytical skills, work accurately and are a great problem-solver. You are also an effective communicator who works well with the other members of the team. Preferably you have knowledge of banking processes.
You also have:
• A relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree (Computer Science, Information Science or Business Administration)
• At least 8+ years of experience as a high-quality developer
• Experience and knowledge of the following technical elements: Javascript, Typescript, HTML5, SCSS, 5+ years at least in Modern JS framework (Angular 11+, React, Vue), JSON, CSS, CI/CD pipelines, NRWL NX to manage the monorepo, microservice
• Preferred: knowledge of Java8+, Redux, RxJs, Node.js and Observables, Unit Testing and Integration testing frameworks, Azure CICD, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Storybook, Jest, ProtoBuf
• The necessary certifications
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum and DevOps way of working

As Full Stack Front End Developer you will be working for the business unit Banking within our Financial Services domain. Retail and Corporate Banking are rapidly changing. New regulations, increased competition and innovation in the field of Open Banking, stimulate the banks to adapt and constantly invest in their application landscape. This, while top priority remains keeping client satisfied and their data safe from all possible intrusions. This is the vibrant environment you will be working in. Together with a team of experts you will - in an Agile way - be working on these new and changing solutions at our clients in the financial services sector.
