What are you going to do:

• Picking up Stories: Design planning had, how are we going to build it in Anaplan;
• Talking to the end user to build a forecasting model;
• Having contact with the data team about which data is needed;
• Being able to convert an Excel sheet into a 3, 4 or 5 dimensional modeling environment;
• Giving knowledge sessions about Anaplan;
• Solving incidents;
• Making instructional videos on how teams should read forecasts;
• Writing blogs about forecasting.

Functie-eisen

• At least 2 years experience with building (financial) models in Anaplan;
• Experience with multidimensional modelling in Anaplan or other similar tools such as: Oracle PBCS or IBM Planning Analytics;
• Basic knowledge of ETL, masterdata management and SQL;
• Affinity with the financial world.

We are looking for an Anaplan Builder to deliver end-to-end solutions within a big telecommunication organization in the Netherlands. You will gather requirements from different stakeholders (software developers and data engineers), and you will develop and deploy models that fulfil these requirements. You will work in a team that contributes to the digital transformation by delivering the right models to the financial forecasting team.

 

As a model builder, you help to develop new features for the platform, such as database connections and model logic implementation. For this, you work with the business to fully comprehend the desired features and logic, ensuring that the model matches the business logic. You'll also be able to advise the company on Anaplan's capabilities, as well as show them fresh alternatives that they may not have considered.
