Hybrid Cloud Platform Automation Engineer - Infrastructure Services

Position Description
We are looking for a talented and experienced hybrid cloud platform automation engineer to join our dynamic team. As a provider of IT Infrastructure Services, we are passionate about infrastructure, virtualization and automation. Your future duties and responsibilities
As a hybrid cloud platform automation engineer at CGI GTO, you will be part of a team that is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining virtualization and automation platforms, automate activities to improve our efficiency to our customers.
You will work closely with our virtualization team and our automation and architecture team to identify opportunities for automation and contribute in developing new infrastructure services helping our clients in their digital transformation journey.
You will become a member of our dynamic engineering team, managing high available infrastructures and automating infrastructure across hybrid / multicloud platforms. Our team operates across two locations, the Netherlands and the Czech Republic. You will work collaboratively with your colleagues to develop innovative and customer-specific solutions.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
In your daily work, you will get in touch with the following tools and technologies. The more you have experience with already the better. Everything else you will learn on the job:
- Experience in installing and managing VMware vSphere, VMware vSphere Replication
- Experience in installing and managing VMware Aria and VMWare Cloud Director
- Experience in automation and orchestration using tools such as Ansible
- Experience in installing and managing Kubernetes (VMware Tanzu)
- Experience in programming languages, including Python, YAML or Bash.
- Experience in Public Cloud like AWS ( Administrator Associate is preferred)
- Familiarity with DevOps and Agile methodologies, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD). And good knowledge of version control with Git and the interactions with code repositories from Github/ Gitlab.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
