Your day-to-day activities
As Full Stack Java Developer you will be part of one of our DevOps team. With a multidisciplinary team you will be working - in an Agile way - on creating new functionalities and maintaining existing features. It covers both development and operations; helping to organize the continuous delivery pipeline, connecting to back end systems, performing automated tests and shaping the front end. The high-quality solutions you deliver result in resilient systems.

What you need to be successful in this role
You have strong presentation and communication skills for interfacing with clients, fellow developers and other departments. You are proactive and you know how to take initiative. You are eager to learn and apply new things. Working in an Agile/Scrum environment is familiar for you.

You also have:
• A completed college or university degree with a strong ICT component
• At least 4 years of software engineering experience
• Advanced knowledge of Java 8 or higher, REST APIs, JSON and Oracle
• Sound knowledge of Java design pattern, frameworks and development & build tools, like    Spring, Hibernate, Jenkins, Eclipse Plugins, Git and Maven
• Solid understanding of front end techniques like Polymer, AngularJS, JavaScript, React,
   Node.js, HTML5,CSS3 and Bootstrap
• At least Oracle Certified Professional for Java (OCP)
• Experience with continuous delivery and integration and the banking sector is desirable.

As a Full Stack Java Developer you will be working - in an Agile way - on new and changing solutions at our clients in the sector Financial Services. Insurance companies are rapidly changing. New regulations, increased competition and innovation in the field of FinTech, stimulate the insurers to adapt and constantly invest in their application landscape.
