We are looking for a passionate Java Software Architect to join our product team. The Software Architect is responsible for growing our application’s feature set by translating market demand, internal demand, and competitor advantages into functional extensions and technical innovations. A development team will then implement these new functionalities and technologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define opportunities for extending the functionality of the MPO platform.
• Manage the requirements, development, and introduction of new product features.
• Design enterprise system views on the application, integration, and database technology.
• Optimize designs for functionality, user experience, security, performance, and accounting.
• Guide developers in the optimal use of Java frameworks and open-source components.
• Help solution consultants and customers in the global design of their systems landscape.

• MSc/PhD University degree with a Masters in Technology or an equivalent expertise level.
• At least 5 years’ experience in Java software architecture for web business applications.
• Experience with open-source software frameworks, like Wicket, Spring, and Hibernate
• Experience with microservices architecture and containerization in cloud computing.
• Knowledge of the latest trends and frameworks in software architecture.
• Experience with Linux platforms and PostgreSQL database systems
• Strong communication skills as well as a positive customer friendly attitude.
• Ability to plan team activities and to exceed expectation.
• Great passion for smart software design.
• Fluent in English

• Your salary will be 5000 - 6000 euro per month gross
