Job Summary:

We are seeking 2 skilled and customer-focused individuals to join our IT support team as Senior MAC Support Engineer. As an engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing VIP on-site technical support and ensuring smooth operations within our organization. You will be responsible for resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues, as well as delivering excellent customer service to end-users. who should have good experience in User Experience & customer management + Desk-side Tech skills.

1. The first engineer will provide 5/5 day support of Amsterdam Office
2. The second engineer's role is split into 2 parts: 3 day support in Amsterdam Office, and 2 day support of the Eindhoven Office

Responsibilities:

• Ensures that the technologies are updated with current, stable, and compliant architecture and applications that meet enterprise standards;
• Manages system/application environment and ongoing operations;
• Performs on-call activities as needed for the environment and technologies;
• Contribute input to infrastructure architecture;
• Provide input infrastructure architecture designs;
• Researches, designs, implements and tests technology solutions;
• Collaborates with IT and business area partners on work groups and initiatives;
• Troubleshoots software and/or hardware issues/failures;
• Ensures execution and alignment to architectural standards and blueprints;
• Resolves alerts and performs remediation activities;
• Writes programming/scripting;
• Determines migration and upgrade impacts and diagnose/resolve complex technology/application errors;
• Performs installation, monitoring, testing, configuration, migration, maintenance and troubleshooting of assigned technology (MAC);
• Proactively monitors and reports performance and utilization of assigned technologies;
• Assists with developing tactical strategies, processes and procedures related to systems/application

Requirements

• Experience analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions;
• Bachelor's degree in an IT related field or relevant work experience;
• Experience using Agile methodology;
• Ability to manage tasks independently and take ownership of responsibilities;
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment;
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly and articulately;
• Competent working in one or more environments highly integrated with an operating system (MAC). JAMF Certifications a plus;
• Must have strong Apple product knowledge;
• High critical thinking skills to evaluate alternatives and present solutions that are consistent with business objectives and strategy;
• Extensive working knowledge of multiple technologies and their interfaces and integration;
• Ability to learn from mistakes and apply constructive feedback to improve performance.

• Strong knowledge of Dutch and English ​
