Your job: Senior Java Backend Engineer Amsterdam
As Senior Java Backend Engineer Amsterdam you will be one of the experienced pillars to help grow the Amsterdam office. Meaning you can not only help to build further an amazing product, you will also help shape the Amsterdam office, mentor highly passionate engineers to the next level and have an amazing time. Talk about impact! Of course you get to work with some of the smartest engineering minds around, with whom you can spar with an learn from! When you join you can sink your teeth into building their next generation of entire AdTech platform and getting it ready for the future to scale x5 before 2025. When they are already ingesting their so much as is, you can imagine the challenges ahead. Plus building advanced service tools and components that lay the foundation for future success. This job is for you when you like to work on challenging non trivial backend challenges that have not been solved before!

What is required?

• A minimum of 5 year of professional backend development experience
• Professional experience with Java8+ or another JVM language
• Experience with designing and building mission critical highly distributed backend services
• You have a high quality, product and TDD mindset
• You have an pioneering mindset and enjoy building something new!
• You have experience building systems with great resiliency and a 24/7 uptime
• A completed BSc or MSc degree in computer science or similar is a plus
• Experience with streaming technology like Kafka or Spark is a big plus
• Experience working on AdTech is a plus

 

What is offered?

• Between € 80.000 to € 105.000 gross per year + 10% yearend bonus
