Your job: Medior Backend Golang Engineer Amsterdam
As a Medior Backend Golang Engineer Amsterdam, you get the unique opportunity to build the foundation of this potential unicorn with a modern stack (including Golang, GCP, and Kubernetes), focusing on scalability, security (encryption) and performance of the platform, so that millions of people worldwide can be helped. In addition to involvement in architecture/design, you can build core microservices and features. Because technology is seen here as a tool for cool solutions, you can also build it in other languages(e.g. Node.JS and Python) if this is the best solution. Continuous interaction with AI and the medical lab makes your work extra tangible. In addition, as a backend engineer, you are responsible end-to-end, which allows you to boost your Cloud/DevOps skills.

Since this is only the beginning of a mission to conquer the world, after you have built the foundation and progressed to senior level, you can be key in helping the teams grow as a (tech/team) lead or architect!

What is being asked?

• 2+ years of professional backend engineering experience
• Professional experience with Golang (or willingness to learn)
• Experience with Cloud and Microservices
• A technical bachelor and/or master or a comparable level of thinking
• Experience with Node.JS andPython are pluses
• Experience with AI and security is pluses
• Experience with GCP is a plus
• Experience with DevOps, CI/CD Automation, and Kubernetes are a plus
• Experience working within a start/scale-up environment is a big plus
• Experience with architecture & design is a plus
• Experience introducing new tech is a plus

What is offered?

• Between €58,000 and €73,000 gross per year based on knowledge and added value
