Working in a digital agency that takes on total project management for their clients?
As a developer, you will be working on the various projects they have in multidisciplinary teams. The customers naturally demand the quality customized solutions. You simply make sure they get them. The diversity in the projects means you keep the excitement going. Take into account that you will be working on around 3 to 5 projects per year.
You are specifically responsible for the beautiful frontends of the websites, web applications and sometimes the mobile apps that are built. Together with the designers, you think along to achieve a technically feasible design. All with the aim of achieving the client's strategic objectives, of course. Have these been determined? Then it is time for the development. So from start to finish, you are responsible for delivering the right quality and satisfied customers.
Functie-eisen
Knowledge of at least the following:
- JavaScript frameworks React.Js or Vue.Js
- At least 2 years' demonstrable work experience
- Agile way of working
- You like good quality code, but can also come up with pragmatic solutions
- You find good communication very important, both within the team and towards customers
- Can you demonstrate code in GitHub that is representative of your level? Perfect!

What is it that they do?
Our client delivers custom-made web applications whether in combination with CMS solutions. They do this from the beautiful city of Amsterdam in a nice building in the Houthavens. Their expertise does not come from just anywhere, as they have more than 30 years of experience, which has enabled them to build up a cool customer base. Not only a large client base, but also a very diverse one. As a result, they take on many different types of projects, which makes your work nice and challenging.
You do this with about 50 other developers in scrum teams. You can think of challenging web application projects for T-Mobile, various festivals and the VVV Tourist Office. Besides web application projects, mobile apllication requests are also occasionally issued. In addition to external projects for clients, they also work on their own applications and have developed a SaaS for renting houses on the Wadden Islands.
