What you’ll do here:
  • Lead and manage developers working with JavaScript, Angular, Java, MongoDB, PostgreSQL on a SaaS product platform in a micro-service architecture.
  • Lead your team through regular and timely check-ins, coaching, one-on-ones, career development, and support (70% leading and managing, 30% development)
  • Participate in development on a Scrum Team, coding for new application features and enhancements to existing platform, conduct code reviews, and build automation tests. Collaborate with quality assurance and dev ops teams to ensure stable and quality releases.
  • Work closely with our Product team and Dev leadership to establish the best technical design and approach for product development.
  • Help manage bug backlog and issue resolution process.
  • Help establish and track department OKRs and individual developer goals.


What we’re looking for:
  • 8+ years of professional software development experience in any of the following: C#, Java, JavaScript, Typescript, React, Redux, Angular, NodeJS, TSQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL and Git.
  • Desire to mentor and help other developers grow their skill sets and career.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work well with cross-functional teams adjusting accordingly to technical and non-technical people alike.
  • Ability to breakdown complex requirements into smaller technical user stories to support agile development.
  • AWS experience working in a micro-service architecture.
  • Bonus points for:
    • Experience working in an Agile SDLC environment, using tools like Jira, and experience as a Scrum Master or leading agile ceremonies.
