Are you a senior front-end developer and an expert in UX, SEO and website architecture and speed? Can you take our portal for boat sales and charter YachtFocus to the next level? Then join YachtFocus to become our Lead Web Developer (frontend). Challenging and satisfying work in a great team and excellent pay!

YachtFocus is an internet services company with 15 employees in Amstelveen, near Amsterdam. Our flagship product is the market leading portal YachtFocus, which attracts 500,000 visitors per month. We also design and build webshop-like websites for major clients in the boating industry and boat charter.

Your tasks at YachtFocus, part time or full time:

• Lead, advise and contribute to our web design activities.
• Develop entirely new features and improve existing ones on YachtFocus.
• Further improve the SEO of YachtFocus.
• In addition, you occasionally design and build websites for our customers and you manage our SEO services for customers.

Functie-eisen

We are looking for:

• Broad experience with portals, e-commerce and webshops.
• Senior knowledge of PHP, WP, AWS, Elastic Search, Cloudflare and open source software.
• You live in Amsterdam or the Dutch Green Heart region.
• Experience with boats and a good command of the Dutch language is an advantage, but not a strict requirement.
