Climate-KIC is a knowledge and innovation community, established and funded by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT). Our vision is to create a prosperous, inclusive, and climate resilient society with a circular, zero-emission economy by 2050. We pursue this vision by leveraging transformative innovation to catalyse systemic change for climate action.

We are Europes largest public-private partnership with this purpose a growing pan-European community of diverse organisations united by a commitment to direct the power of creativity and human ingenuity to the challenge of climate change. We bring together more than 350 organisational members from across 25 countries from the private, public, and academic sectors, as well as hundreds of start-ups and students.

The Climate-KIC Holding B.V. acts as a backbone organization to our community, offering a vision for systemic change, helping define challenges, and establishing platforms for broad-based engagement. The Holding employs more than 220 people in 15 locations across Europe.
