Function description Field Technician/workplace manager - Utrecht and surrounding areas

You are part of ESP Global Services, an international team - this position is as a workplace manager in Utrecht and surrounding areas.
You will provide support at the location where you are located and you will also be outside the location. The service offered corresponds to the agreed service agreement. You will respond to incidents created by the service desk (hardware, software and connection) including service requests.
  • The service provision falls within the agreed periods and agreements made with the customer.
  • Resolve incidents through replacements or repairs
  • Provide the standard hardware and software that is approved.
  • Support and maintenance for the local services (Desktop Services) (including tools for remote support).
  • Manage the local stock and make sure there are enough spare parts / machines in case something needs to be replaced.
  • Support, manage and maintain the workstations (also includes updating the system)
  • Identify faulty parts and make sure you have replacement parts on site.
  • Keep an eye on the security of the systems to ensure that the systems are in line with the rules within the company.
  • Ensure that you place the latest image on a workstation.
  • Provide optimal support for important people at the customer's premises.
  • Ensure good communication with the customer, colleagues and older colleagues within the team. Provide regular updates to the global service desk. So that every process can be updated correctly.

Requirements Requirements
  • At least 1-3 years' professional experience in a similar function.
  • Fluent in the English language and the Dutch language.
  • A broad knowledge of Microsoft's operating systems (Windows XP,7,8) this is a requirement that is necessary to be able to perform the function.
  • Experience with Service Management tools - Service Now.
  • Experience with EUC tools such as (MS Office and Outlook).
  • Knowledge about the ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem and Services) but also about managing the inventory
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A full driving licence
