Function description Developer of detection systems
General Intelligence and Security Service

Job description
Getting data from a variety of sources safely to the destination. Don't let any virus or malware escape your attention. Do not keep users waiting any longer than necessary for their data. That's your job as a developer of detection systems in a nut village.

What are you gonna do?
Every day, the General Intelligence and Security Service receives an unimaginable amount of data. For example, e-mails to employees, audio and video streams, but also data from hacks or tap data provided by providers. These data come from a wide variety of sources, have different goals or destinations, and come in different formats. Everything has to reach the users of our internal systems safely and cleanly and therefore first goes through the 'data-washing street'.

As a developer of detection systems, you are working on the renewal and expansion of this platform, which is one of our most important IT defence lines. Your focus is on making this platform 'smarter' and improving monitoring for end users (where is my data?). You also work on advanced conversion solutions for sometimes unique data formats. Once they're done and you've automated all the repetitive management work, you'll broaden your work and your field of vision. You can do this by developing shared services for DevOps teams so that they can develop clear new products and services. A special opportunity for a backend-developer who wants to work in a high-impact environment on the edge of new technology.

What do you get in return?
Rather good than fast, which means that you can really go into the depths of our organisation. We use technology - open source or purchased - as creatively as possible. An instructive and exciting work with a special encore: you make an important contribution to our safety.

Given the nature of our organisation, we cannot tell you everything on paper. In a conversation all the more.
