What are you going to do as Team Leader IT?
As team leader you are responsible for the continuity, quality and flawless operation of the technical infrastructure within Interswitch so that our services are guaranteed. Above all, as IT Team Leader you will be responsible for the coordination of the daily operational IT activities. You are hands-on and responsible for the content of the operation and you provide adequate support to one or more IT employees. You also monitor and make an active contribution to the developments in the field of IT, oversee the bigger picture, plan the work and take care of the execution and delivery of the planning. You also have an advisory and supporting role towards the board and the management.

Requirements In order to have a good connection within Interswitch we expect you to bring the following with you:
  • Preferably HBO work and thinking level in an IT technical direction;
  • You have earned your spurs as a senior system administrator (or equivalent) or are ready for the next step in your career and are able to manage others;
  • Have a broad IT knowledge in the field of management and development;
  • You can work independently and in a team;
  • Has the following characteristics: creative, collegial, eager to learn, customer-oriented, reliable, result-oriented, stress-resistant and proactive;
  • In possession of a driving license B;
  • Have flexible availability and can run stand-by services;
  • You do not live more than 45 minutes travel time from work.
The technical function requirements:
  • You are responsible for managing servers inside and outside a VMWare environment including associated infrastructure components with a high risk of failure;
  • Independently coordinate, execute and deliver a change on the infrastructure;
  • Monitoring and analyzing the load on the technical infrastructure;
  • Developing and implementing preventive and corrective measures and providing support in solving complex problems (such as disruptions in business critical applications);
  • Advising, implementing new software and hardware;
  • Signalling the expiry of depreciations, contracts and licences;
  • Supporting new application implementations, upgrades and migrations;
  • You are in charge of contracts with IT partners and suppliers;
  • Experience with VMWare, VCenter, VMWare environments, technical application management;
  • Experience with MS Server 2008/2012r2/2016;
  • Experience with SQL databases (technical and functional management);
  • Knowledge of Active directory;
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2013/2016/Exchange Online;
  • Knowledge of Voice Over IP;
  • Knowledge of Office 365 and other as-a-service models is an advantage;
  • An excellent command of Dutch, English and Technical English spoken and written;
  • Experience with Linux servers is an advantage;
  • Programming skills are an advantage;
  • Experience with the technical side of facility contact centers is an advantage.
