Function description Who are we?
The municipality of Utrechtse Heuvelrug has almost 50,000 inhabitants. Where are you going to work?
Municipality of Utrechtse Heuvelrug works themed. The Fundament theme provides a solid and future-proof basis on which the organisation can carry out its work. From Fundament, the Information and Data (I&G) team ensures good and reliable availability of documentary, basic and core data, supports the organisation in its use and ensures correct quality, use and safety.
To this end, it develops policy, frameworks and guidelines and adjusts them if necessary so that the municipality's information architecture is future-proof and remains manageable.

What is the purpose of the job?
Quality and availability of (digital) information is of crucial importance. In order to achieve this, the (digital) information supply must be of the right quality, well managed and optimally accessible. In addition, developments in the digital field are moving at lightning speed.
At the moment, the focus is on the further development of case-oriented working, which means, among other things, that a new DMS will be implemented that is in line with the Common Ground principles. In the coming years, we will be working on projects in which we will further implement digital collaboration with residents and colleagues. As an archive and information manager, you will play a role both in the daily work around the archive (such as linking documents and files, destruction, retrievals, etc., contact with the regional archive department) and in projects that affect information management.

What are you doing?
  • Co-responsible for the careful registration, inventory, management and optimisation of analogue and digital information.
  • Co-responsible for carrying out quality checks on the analogue and digital archive.
  • Advising colleagues on archiving, digital and analogue.
  • Providing targeted user training in the field of information management.
  • Contributing to projects that affect information management.

Requirements
  • MBO+/ HBO thinking and working level
  • training in information management and digital information services, e.g. SOD I / II
  • knowledge of and experience with archiving and record management
  • knowledge of and experience with digital information management
  • extensive knowledge of relevant laws and regulations
  • your digital skills are above average and you have an affinity with ICT
  • You are able to think out-of-the-box and contribute to the developments within the Information and Data team.

Other info We offer you a dynamic job with varied work, training opportunities, enthusiastic colleagues and good fringe benefits such as parental leave and flexible working hours. This position is valued in salary scale 8 of the Municipal Collective Labour Agreement. The salary amounts to a minimum of € 2,170 in the preliminary salary scale up to a maximum of € 3,591 in the job scale based on a 36-hour working week. In addition to your salary, you will receive a monthly Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 17.05%. This is a freely spendable budget to make choices that suit your stage of life and personal wishes. You can have the IKB paid out or spend it on extra leave, training costs and union membership fees.
