Account Manager

As Account Manager at Syntess Software ...
... you are responsible for visiting and maintaining contact with our customers who use our software solutions. The customer agreements are made together with our sales secretariat. During the average of two to three customer visits per day, you focus on the customer and the user level. Through the combination of product knowledge and convincing product presentations, you can demonstrate added value for the customer and you succeed in selling our software and consultancy. You will participate in trade fairs and seminars where you can give customers extra attention and bring the latest developments to the attention.

The day begins and...
...you start up the package and take the time to answer emails. Before you leave for the client, you go through the client file and prepare yourself for the commercial opportunities and operational matters. You get in your car on time and leave for the first customer. An installer who wants to know more about the Web Work Order. You have a good conversation and in addition to the explanation of the Web Work Order, you give advice on how to continue to make optimal use of the software and how to achieve this through the use of on-site guidance. The next appointment is planned. At this client you will present the software components for which you are interested and at the end of the afternoon you will work out a quotation. After your appointments you will be working from home, because you want to find out more for a number of customers, make some more visit reports and you would call another colleague to go through a specific customer question. Of course you have full attention for your outstanding quotations and call them to find out the status or to be able to enter the order. At the end of the working day, your actions to be followed up are updated.

The sales and account management team ...
.... is spread over the country, but has a close telephone contact and comes together at our office in Gorinchem. There you'll report trends from the market during the monthly sales meeting. The sales department consists of a total of 12 colleagues. Together we stand for a strong company and a reliable product. Requirements
  • You have a relevant education or experience at higher professional education level, for example in the direction of business economics or a commercial direction.
  • You find it challenging to convince the customer of our solutions by means of strong presentations.
  • You are a driven, entrepreneurial and positive commercial personality with strong communication and writing skills.
  • You like being yourself and want to make a difference for our users on a daily basis.
  • You are stress resistant and cannot imagine working without a target.
  • You want an employment contract for 40 hours and you live in Southeast Netherlands.
