Company description

You will work as a DevOps Engineer Microsoft in the Deventer/Apeldoorn environment at a nationally operating organization. They are constantly on the move and are always busy implementing the latest innovations. The organization works with large amounts of data, they focus on both the B2B and B2C markets and are a pioneer in their field of expertise. The applications running on the platform process requests per month for more than 6 million users and you can play a role in the complex techniques and infrastructure that surrounds these applications!

You join a team in which half focuses on management, the other half on automating the infrastructure. Logically, you and your colleagues will focus on automating. You are constantly active with the development and implementation of infrastructure products of the platform on which the applications run. Your responsibility is to configure, install, maintain and constantly renew the platform. Indirectly, you ensure that the applications are always running. In addition, you ensure that the platform, applications and functionalities remain manageable; after all, it is a platform on which millions of (!) users depend.

They use PowerShell at a high level as a programming language. Don't think of simple scripts and automating regular management tasks. You will work with other Automation Experts to bring the production of infrastructure to a higher level. You will work to make the deployment pipeline as optimal as possible.

The environment never stands still, you are constantly innovating. As an Automation Engineer your knowledge stands still and can not stand still, you like to work together with other team members and transfer your knowledge and learn from colleagues, this gives you the motivation to continue to grow in knowledge and experience! Your (internal) customers are the development and management teams, with which you can switch directly and effectively; after all, they are in the same department. The atmosphere within the team is informal and the manager has an eye for the team. She ensures that you can develop yourself and grow in knowledge.

In short; a position where you are responsible for a very critical platform at an organization where you get the space and freedom to further develop yourself as a Devops Engineer Microsoft within a very complex environment (±200 servers).
