Function description

As a Support Engineer you work for a growing ICT service provider. The organization currently consists of about 10 - 15 employees. Together with your colleagues you are responsible for solving, analyzing incidents and supporting end users. This is a broad function. You provide support, you implement changes and you carry out proactive system management.

In this function you can grow to a role as a System Engineer.


  • Accepting and prioritizing issues
  • At the request of customers you make changes
  • You keep customers informed about the status of tickets
  • You make suggestions for improvement and discuss these within the team in which you work
  • Actively help to solve system malfunctions
  • You work with new techniques and products (Server 2016, Office 365, VMware, Cisco, etc.).

  • You work and think at a minimum MBO level
  • You have completed a relevant (ICT) course
  • You have built up experience within ICT
  • You are customer-oriented, solution-oriented and have communication skills.
  • You have knowledge of Microsoft server products.
