Within the digital department of Client Interaction and Services (KI&S) we attach great value to the agile method and the guiding principles behind scrum and Kanban. This enables us to continue to develop and improve our (digital) services to citizens and businesses.

In your role of scrum master, you will guide and support teams in successfully applying the agile method. Together with the product owners, you will realise fortnightly sprints to achieve good results. You also introduce new elements that lead to growth and improvement.

As a scrum master you make sure that the scrum process is used correctly and facilitate it. You are responsible for the sprint planning, stand-up, demo and retrospective. You will also organize group processes, sessions and workshops. You stimulate the growth of your team, remove obstacles and obstacles, and provide the right resources. Of course, you follow the latest developments in your field closely.

Job requirement
  • You have a higher professional education diploma in a relevant direction.
  • You have at least three years of experience in the application of scrum and Kanban in an ICT or web environment.
  • You have knowledge of the hard side of frontend and web development.
  • You have global knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript and its application.
  • You are interested in web architecture, web analytics, usability, responsive and adaptive design.
  • Preferably you have knowledge of SAFe or the ideas of Henrik Kniberg, the implementation at Spotify and scaling up from agile to working with multiple scrum teams.

Terms of employment Salary

Salary description In principle, grading takes place in the next lower salary scale. In the presence of relevant knowledge, experience or because of labour market considerations, grading can take place on a higher position in the relevant salary scale. It is also possible, in special cases in which the available knowledge and/or experience justifies this, to be placed directly in the salary scale appropriate to the position.
Monthly salary Min €3,256 - Max €5,003 (gross)
Fixed-term employment contract with a view to indefinite term
Temporary appointment / Fixed-term employment contract with a view to indefinite term
Minimum number of hours per week 32
Maximum number of hours per week 36

Other employment conditions
In addition to salary, you will also receive an individual selection budget (IKB). Your IKB consists of money (IKB budget) and time (IKB hours).
