Function description Customer Support Engineer, Haarlem, fulltime
Do you see yourself as a spider in the web, the social axis of our customer service and the calm regulator in all the hustle and bustle? Then your career in the international events industry starts here!

The most important thing for a successful event is everything that happens behind the scenes. Visit by GES provides hardware and services for event registration, tickets and data intelligence. Our goal is to achieve maximum customer satisfaction among organisers and visitors of events worldwide. Our innovative and super effective registration applications are one thing, but what really makes the difference is our people. Are you going to make a difference

? What are you going to do as a Customer Support Engineer?
As a support specialist, you know what it takes to provide the highest level of customer service. You will work with the Client Manager to create the best customer experience before, during and after the event. If you're in the office, you're the contact person for our clients by phone or email regarding, well... pretty much everything. From technical questions about products and installation to administrative or logistic matters
. You will also be able to provide this excellent service personally on location. During events, you will be the driving force behind the scenes with regard to the installation of equipment and support for users of this equipment. You monitor and report all activities during the event and provide feedback to the Client Manager.

What else? You're also concerned with it:
  • setting up registration systems on location and providing back office support in use of the system, both on location and remotely;
  • Continuously identifying, planning and meeting customer needs before, during and after the event;
  • Collect and update information to keep the FAQs up to date so that Client Managers have the most relevant information at their disposal;
  • registering all additional services and services to the customer, outside the standard contract, so that the Client Manager can correctly invoice these costs afterwards;
  • gathering feedback on problems or improvements and proactively contributing to their resolution;
  • actively contribute ideas and provide suggestions for the improvement of actions and processes.

In this multifaceted position, it is important that you are not only very good at dealing with people, but also have a good command of the Dutch and English languages. You come to the aid of end users, have to explain the system to organisers in a comprehensible way and deal with complaints or dissatisfied customers in a subtle and solution-oriented way.
