Legal Database Administrator
The role and its responsibilities
Working from our office in Arnhem, the Netherlands, you provide support on ALG’s systems and tools to ALG and relevant ICTerGezocht.nl colleagues. This includes access/user management as you create, maintain and update authorizations.
Further, you are responsible for registration and validation, and you perform maintenance and updating. You also act as first line support for all queries regarding the functional use of the systems and tools.
In addition you develop and run reports including reports for external auditors, following up any queries and liaising appropriately. You also prepare declarations such as annual statements and depositions at the Chamber of Commerce.
Finally, you perform the safe-keeping and maintenance of original documentation (share certificates, share registers etc) included in the systems and tools.
As such, this is a role for flexible candidates who are able to recognize needs, solve problems, anticipate issues and develop solutions. You must also be able to get consensus and collaboration across teams.
To apply for this position you must possess the following attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience is preferred;
- At least five years of experience in Database Administration;
- Knowledge and experience of business process management technologies and techniques such as process analysis;
- Good analytical, problem solving and change management skills;
- Good organizational and project management skills, able to act autonomously while supported by senior colleagues;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills including fluent written and spoken English.
