Technical IT Supervisor at Container Centralen

About the position
The Technical IT Supervisor is responsible for the co-ordination of ICT operations in the Dutch office and, as a super user, delivers hands-on local assistance. Furthermore he has full technical responsibility for IP-phone operations, delivers local onsite technical support to the Customer Service Center, and manages the integration of the IP-phone platform with other platforms (like CRM, etc.).

Further tasks consist of:
• Reporting potential risks and benefits not yet realised
• Reporting to management
• Participate in ICT guard duty
• Participate in ICT service desk with minimum one day per week and guard during weekends, evenings and holidays
• Enhancing and sharing knowledge on ICT platforms
• Supporting ICT on technical matters
• Support on other infrastructure tasks in ICT (i.e. server, pc, network)

You will be working from the Dutch office, based in Hoofddorp, and will be travelling frequently to the office in Odense, Denmark or to one of the other locations in Europe. The first three weeks you will have an introduction programme in Denmark.

Periodically you will spend 1 to 3 days per month at the office in Deventer and 1 to 5 days per month in Denmark.

A good sense of humor, openness and ability to co-operate with other ICT staff is essential.

As the corporate language is English the ideal candidate can be of any background and does not necessarily have to be Dutch.

Your profile
• High technical skills on IPT, network, servers, applications, pc’s
• MS Office knowledge on a super user level
• English on B2 level (able to negotiate in English and make contracts in English)
• Working independent and structured
• Must be very good at documenting own and others work
• Responsible, firm on deadlines, make things happen
• Self driven in the daily work since your manager is based in Denmark
• Broad ICT Technology experience: business systems
• Broad ICT infrastructure experience is a demand
• +5 years experience in working with ICT infrastructure and operations
• +3 years experience in working with Cisco IP-phone system
• +2 years experience in working in an international company and with international projects/suppliers
• Broad and deep understanding on solving customers challenges
• Flexibility in working hours
• ITIL on basic concept level (ITIL certification is preferred)
• Basic project management knowledge is preferred
