Sector Information
Within ASML the sector Development & Engineering (D&E) is responsible for the specification and the design of the ASML products. The department Measurement and Performance Control (MPC) is the D&E organization for the Product Group Applications. The product group provides integrated solutions with computational, metrology and control technology for extendibility and improved efficiency of lithography products.

Position in the Organization
The Software Engineer reports to the group lead Performance Control, interacts with the project lead and operates within a multi disciplinary development team.

Job Mission
Mission of the job is to realize Wafer Fab Applications in an effective and efficient way. All development activities need to be conducted with the constraints of specification, time and budget as demanded by market conditions.

Job Description
• Specifies, designs, implements software to realize wafer fab products, including mathematical models and algorithms as specified by the application team and system engineering. This can also include user interface;
• Interacts with application team, product architect;
• Validates and tests implemented solutions in cooperation with application team and system engineering;
• Develops software following ASML software system design processes. Keywords: Java, JEE, MatLab, Solaris/Linux, GUI.

Educational Level
• Master / Bachelor degree Computer Science;
• Affinity with Mathematics / Physics.

Experience
5-10 years experience in software engineering.

Personal Skills
• The candidate should be flexible, result driven, team player and a good communicator;
• It's is a plus if the candidate has experience in high availability industrial software product development;
• Good knowledge of English.
